Remi

24, building Arcade.

/

Hey, I'm Remi.

I grew up building things on Minecraft because it was the first place where I felt completely free to create.

I didn't continue studying after high school. I was 18, and my life basically became a hackathon before I even knew what a hackathon was.

Today, I'm building Arcade. In a way, it's the thing I've been trying to build my whole life: a place where playing and creating are the same thing, and where almost anything you can imagine can become real.

Things I've made

  • Arcade

A place to create and play anything with your friends and AI. What I'm spending most of my time on now.

  • Before Arcade

I spent a few years building random things on the internet. Some worked, some didn't. One eventually got acquired. Mostly, I learned what it takes to turn an idea into something real, from the first version to growing it, running it, and building a team around it.

I also somehow ended up judging and organizing a bunch of hackathons around San Francisco and Europe with Stanford, Google DeepMind, Cambridge, Tencent, Arcade, and a few others.
